VIATT 2026 announces inaugural lifestyle Trend Forum: unified vision for S/S 2027 across fashion, home, and tech

Ho Chi Minh City, 26 January 2026. The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is set to host its first Trend Forum, offering a forward-looking, industry-wide perspective for Spring / Summer 2027. With the show scheduled from 26 – 28 February 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), VIATT’s trend curators – NellyRodi™ Agency and MUSEATIVE – will provide comprehensive insights across the interconnected realms of Apparel Fabrics & Fashion, Home & Contract Textiles, and Technical Textiles & Technologies. The display of these integrated LIFESTYLE TRENDS, under the umbrella theme ARTISANSHIP, is a first for the textile industry, exploring an alternative to the traditional sector-specific trend focus. The sub-themes set to be showcased include TO WORK, TO RELAX, TO HAVE FUN, and TO CREATE, all key aspects that shape how people dress, create comfort in the home, and interact with technology.

Vietnam’s market potential realised as exhibitors confirmed across three textile sub-sectors at VIATT 2026

Vietnam’s government aims to preserve its textile industry as a key export sector, encouraging product development that is sustainable, high quality and internationally competitive [1] . And the sector is proving its competitiveness, with exports exceeding USD 17.58 billion in the first five months of 2025, 9% higher than the same period last year [2]. With Vietnam also a prevalent textile and machinery importer, international inputs are key to the success of the country’s developing industry chain – which helps explain the strong exhibitor interest in VIATT’s third edition, taking place 26 – 28 February at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).

Expanded halls, new product zones: VIATT 2026 unlocks broader opportunities

Ho Chi Minh City, 19 June 2025. The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is poised to return to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) from 26 to 28 February 2026. Building on its second edition’s nearly 13% exhibitor growth, next year’s show floor will expand by 20%, from 15,000 to 18,000 sqm and cover the full area of Halls A and B. This includes new dedicated zones for apparel, fashion accessories, and textile chemicals and dyes, with the strategic growth underscoring Vietnam’s emergence as a vertically and horizontally integrated textile powerhouse.

Driving fashion, innovation and sustainability: VIATT 2025 solidifies its role as ASEAN’s premier international textile platform

Ho Chi Minh City, 19 March 2025. At its second edition, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles, and Textile Technologies (VIATT) has once again proven a vital trade platform for the global textile value chain. Taking place from 26 – 28 February 2025, the show concluded with resounding success, after attracting over 19,000 visits (more than 10% increase) from over 70 countries and regions (2024: 55 countries and regions). The fair also welcomed 463 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions, marking a nearly 13% growth compared to the previous year, while adding several new zones and a pavilion that offered potential for Vietnam’s development towards textile innovation and sustainability, and further integration with the global supply chain.

VIATT 2025: multifaceted fair poised to aid rejuvenation of Vietnam's textile industry

Additionally, foreign direct investment (FDI) into Vietnam during the first five months of this year reached USD 11 billion, a 2% year-on-year increase, according to the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI)[1]. First ever VIATT attracts 17,262 visits, lays foundation to ‘harness growth of Vietnam’s textile market’

Ho Chi Minh City, 14 March 2024. As the inaugural Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) drew curtains on 1 March 2024, Messe Frankfurt's first integrated textile fair in Asia has positioned itself as an essential platform for the entire textile value chain. Covering three major industry sectors, the three-day fair attracted 17,262 visits from 55 countries and regions, connecting with 409 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions. In addition to attracting top-quality suppliers, participants also noted the high calibre of buyers and the clear potential for growth at future editions.

Vietnam’s textile fair launch: VIATT sets sail after joint efforts by MOIT, Messe Frankfurt, and VIETRADE

Ho Chi Minh City, 23 February 2024. The inaugural edition of the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) will raise curtains next week from 28 February – 1 March 2024 in Halls A and B1 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). Hosted by Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), this is the first trade fair organised by Messe Frankfurt and VIETRADE. The organisers were pleased to realise the comprehensive show so soon after signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) last March, and with a promising initial outcome are optimistic it will help shape the future of Southeast Asia’s textile industry. Set to host over 400 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, amidst prominent domestic confidence, the fair will cover apparel fabrics, yarns and fibres, and garments; home textiles; as well as technical textiles and nonwovens, textile processing, and printing technology.

Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in late March, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) wasted little time announcing the international fair for the entire textile value chain. The extensive three-day platform will be staged at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City.
